After two years in development, Lion Pose launched its first product in an all-door Sephora rollout, raising the industry's standards of clinical testing and research for underrepresented voices.
WHO: Part of the Sephora Accelerator 2022 program and Y Combinator, Lion Pose is a clinical skincare line focused on hyperpigmentation founded by two BIPOC Silicon Valley software alums and Harvard MBA grads, Madhu Punjabi and Nisha Phatak, who struggled with dark spots and scarring. They enlisted the expertise of Harvard-educated dermatologists Dr. Laura Scott and Dr. Tia Paul. The brand is launching a hero serum SKU, Unspotted 4X Acid Jelly Night Serum ($79), exclusively with all Sephora doors and online.
